We’re renaming ‘products’ to ‘apps’

Atlassian 'products’ are now ‘apps’. You may see both terms used across our documentation as we roll out this terminology change. Here’s why we’re making this change

Manage your language preferences

By default, apps use the language set by your browser. Your app admins can overwrite the language settings by setting a default language for the app. However, if you set a language from your Atlassian account, your language setting overwrites the language your admin sets.

Set your language from your Atlassian account

Select your own language preference for the Atlassian apps you use from your Atlassian account. This setting overwrites any default language that an app admin has set.

  1. Go to your avatar, then select Profile

  2. Select Manage your account

  3. Select Account preferences

  4. From Language, select your language from the dropdown options available.

Additional language support and development efforts

We provide documentation and support for Atlassian cloud apps, which are currently available in English and Japanese.

Portuguese (Portugal), Estonian, Icelandic, and Slovak are available for selection; however, we do not currently offer active support for these languages.

We're working hard to meet the translation needs of our diverse customer base. If you encounter areas where we can improve translations, raise a request with our Internationalization team.
